It is has been said by many about the
benefits of reading something educational every day, and in sales, it
is thought that it gets your subconscious warmed up for the day,
which means you are switched on earlier for opportunities.
As a child, one of my weekly activities
was the trip to the local library.
Recently visited my local
library in Brisbane. I was amazed by how much they have changed.
Instead of the card indices I remember, everything has been replaced
with lightning fast, cross linked, fully referenced computer-based
searches.
I don't even have to leave my house! I can access
the library reservation system from any computer with an internet
connection.
The cost of getting hold of the writings of some
our great thinkers and leaders can be a little prohibitive for some
people. The local library can help here!
