EEAA Conference - 2009

On Thursday the 3rd of December, we were given the very special opportunity to participate in the highly regarded EEAA Conference, held at the Sydney Convention Centre. The theme being “P3 – Passion, Power, Performance”, the convention focused a great deal on reaching out to businesses, and business owners all over the nation who had made the effort to come all the way to Sydney for this event. The bottom line being, we were very honoured to be asked along to take part in the experience.

There were three main streams which were focused on – Marketing, Sales and Operations. Within these streams, there were a total of ? speakers.

Petar Lackovic, our General Manager and highly sought after World-Class Presenter gave an interactive and high energy presentation on the Power of Negotiation.

This included Sales techniques for cracking new business accounts, and ways to learn strategies for handling objections, finding win-win outcomes, and uncovering behavioural drivers - as well as negotiating gambits and sure fire rules and principles for great negotiating.

 

Following his one hour presentation, Petar received some fantastic feedback:

 “Petar, thank you so much for your outstanding presentation at the EEAA conference last week. 

 Many people in the industry know me – mainly because I have been around forever!  During this forever time I have heard so many speakers expounding their sales processes, and have almost reached the stage where I’ve heard it all before, and what I gain personally from their sessions is zilch!

 Not so with you!  I was extremely impressed, I have some tried and trusted sales and marketing ideas which have resulted in a long and successful business history and many of my theories are those you so eloquently embraced and emphasised.  These successful hints are often overlooked from generation to generation, with the young people all thinking they have a better solution, but the basics as you described really are the foundations for success.

What I really loved about it was that my staff heard my words coming from assertive speaker – a very important way to etch my standards into the minds of generations X and Y and probably Z!

 Thank you so much for that and also for rekindling my thoughts on sales presenters – you were excellent!”
